Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain diesel engines and heavy vehicles. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with diagnosing engine issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring vehicles operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in diesel engines and heavy vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of diesel trucks, buses, generators, and other equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty parts such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and fuel systems.
• Conduct engine overhauls and tune-ups to ensure optimal performance.
• Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot faults.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Keep records of maintenance and repair work.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certification in Automotive/Diesel Mechanics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair manuals.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit to handle mechanical work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
