Summary:
The main function of a digital content specialist is to initiate, develop and facilitate content for defined websites. The typical content specialist will maintain a well-organized, user-friendly web presence that contains relevant content.
Responsibilities:
Set up and deliver content and then maintain content as defined by the data governance policies of the web site owner(s)
Initiate, develop and facilitate content for defined web sites.
Provide web content management consultation and help to ensure the implementation of brand, legal, information security and document retention standards within the content delivered.
Work with customer experience architects and creative agencies to design and deliver needed web content
Desired Skills:
Verbal and written communication skills, negotiation skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
Basic knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
Basic knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent training preferred.
5-7 years related experience required.
Experience using keyword research tools to extract insights and actionable data
Experience managing a website taxonomy
Experience managing and processing large-scale text data files for quality assurance and system integration
SEO experience
Experience with a PIM
Ideally has experience in construction or a related field
Excel and presentation skills
Experience as a digital marketing copywriter or similar content producer
Pay Transparency:
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is:
$52.00 - $53.00 /hour
. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
