Overview


As a key member of FifthColor’s Marketing team, the Digital Media & Content Strategist is responsible for leading and executing integrated digital campaigns and content strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients. This client-facing role blends performance marketing with creative storytelling to elevate brand visibility, drive engagement, and deliver measurable results.


As part of the account services team, you’ll collaborate closely with fellow strategists, creatives, developers, and UI/UX designers to ensure that every campaign is aligned with client goals, optimized for performance, and executed with excellence.


Responsibilities


  • Digital Advertising & Social Media Campaigns
  • Develop and manage paid digital advertising campaigns, including search, programmatic, social and more.
  • Expertly utilize digital advertising platforms, such as Google Bing, Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, and more.
  • Conduct key word research, build campaign structures, and manage bidding strategies to maximize ROI.
  • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven optimizations.
  • Stay current with digital advertising trends and platform updates.

2. Organic Social Media & Content Creation

  • Build integrated content strategies across channels such as social, email, SMS, website, and more.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure consistent, timely publishing across platforms.
  • Implement automations to support client’s overall marketing funnel.
  • Monitor and quickly adapt trends for clients across numerous industries.

3. Copywriting & Messaging

  • Manage the creation of clear, persuasive copy for social media, websites, email campaigns and digital ads.
  • Ensure all content aligns with each client’s brand voice and strategic objectives
  • Edit and proofread for clarity, consistency, and impact.

4. SEO/AEO Strategy & Optimization

  • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
  • Understand the AEO (ask engine optimization) landscape and implement best practices.
  • Conduct site audits, keyword research, and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with development and content teams to apply SEO best practices.

5. Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop content strategies that align with client goals and marketing objectives.
  • Provide industry research and insights to inform campaign direction.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Build creative briefs that help align content goals with creative execution.

6. Analytics & Reporting

  • Have understanding of tools like Google Analytics, SEMRush, and digital ads analytics platforms to measure performance.
  • Prepare and present client-facing reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and client feedback.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or content strategy.
  • Proven success in managing digital ad campaigns, SEO initiatives, and content creation for external clients.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, SEMrush, Ahrefs.
  • Experience with social media management and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable interfacing directly with clients.
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
  • A collaborative spirit with passion for creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
