Job Overview
The Digital Products Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, optimization, and lifecycle management of digital products, ensuring they meet customer needs, business goals, and market demands. This role combines product strategy, digital marketing, and project management to deliver innovative digital solutions. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of digital platforms, user experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into actionable product roadmaps.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & DevelopmentDefine and execute the product vision and strategy for digital products (web, mobile apps, SaaS solutions, etc.).Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new digital products or features.Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, engineering, design, and customer support to create detailed product roadmaps and development plans.Prioritize product features based on customer feedback, business needs, and market trends.Product Lifecycle ManagementOversee the entire lifecycle of digital products, from ideation and development to launch and iteration.Manage the day-to-day operations of the product development process, ensuring projects stay on track and deadlines are met.Continuously gather customer feedback, track product performance, and identify opportunities for optimization or expansion.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success, identify areas for improvement, and measure ROI.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with engineering teams to translate product requirements into actionable tasks, ensuring technical feasibility and timely delivery.Partner with UX/UI designers to ensure the product s user experience is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with customer needs.Collaborate with digital marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and positioning.Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges to senior leadership and other stakeholders.Market & Competitive AnalysisConduct competitive analysis to understand market trends, customer preferences, and emerging technologies in the digital product space.Analyze customer behavior and product usage patterns to inform future product iterations.Stay up-to-date with the latest digital product trends, technologies, and best practices, integrating relevant innovations into the product strategy.Risk Management & Product QualityIdentify and mitigate risks related to product development, market adoption, and technical challenges.Ensure product quality by working with QA teams to define testing requirements and validate features before release.Address and resolve any post-launch issues or product bugs in collaboration with engineering and customer support.QualificationsBachelor s degree in Product Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.3 5 years of experience in digital product management, product marketing, or related roles in tech or digital businesses.Proven experience managing the full product lifecycle, from concept through launch and iteration.Strong understanding of digital platforms, web and mobile technologies, SaaS products, and user experience principles.Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana).Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.Preferred SkillsExperience with digital product launches and product marketing campaigns.Knowledge of A/B testing, analytics tools, and user research methods.Familiarity with data analytics platforms to track and optimize product performance (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel).Understanding of the product development process in a startup or fast-paced environment.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Product success metrics: user engagement, retention, and satisfaction.Timeliness and efficiency of product development cycles.Alignment of product development with business goals and customer needs.Positive ROI and measurable business impact of launched products.
