Role Summary:

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of DMCC’s Community Management strategy, policies, and operations across the entire DMCC zone. The Director will oversee all aspects of infrastructure, facilities, and public realm management , ensuring world-class standards of community living, operational excellence, and tenant satisfaction. Extensive experience in international, high-end community and mixed-use development management is highly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the long-term vision for Community Management in alignment with DMCC’s corporate strategy, ensuring the division delivers exceptional service standards, operational sustainability, and measurable impact on community experience
  • Oversee the formulation and execution of strategic plans, performance objectives, and operational frameworks for community management, infrastructure, and public realm services to ensure world-class operations.
  • Proactively monitor and measure the implementation of the division strategy and related strategic plan ensuring that variances are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the provision of subject matter expertise for the assigned domain and provide counsel to DMCC’s leadership on all related areas to facilitate the achievement of the strategic plan and overall organizational strategy.
  • Assume full responsibility of the mission in hand and take all necessary measures to deliver the division objectives.
  • Manage the achievement of division objectives through effective leadership and by managing the setting of individual objectives, monitoring and measuring performance, and developing and motivating the team to maximize performance.
  • Lead the talent development initiatives, collaborating with divisional experts and thereby ensuring the availability of talent to fit the business requirements.
  • Manage the consolidation and recommend the division budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget to identify any variances or performance improvement areas
  • Approve the overarching community management strategy, ensuring that the determined policies, procedures, and service frameworks support DMCC’s development objectives to enhance community living quality and operational integration.
  • Approve strategic partnerships with service providers, government entities, and key stakeholders ensuring that identified collaboration opportunities and formalized agreements support the delivery of high-quality community services and long-term operational efficiency.
  • Authorize community management guidelines, ensuring planned structure engagement models, compliance mechanisms, and service standards support a well-regulated and sustainable community environment.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Real Estate, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • A Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in community management, property management, or large-scale urban operations.
  • At least 7–10 years in a senior leadership capacity overseeing complex, high-value communities or mixed-use developments.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, stakeholder management, and operational excellence within an international or high-end community environment.
  • Familiarity with Local Authority regulations and personnel would be an advantage.
