Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

Leads the E2E demand planning process in cluster SEA and IBP. This includes aligning demand of Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, and Vietnam between Brand and Sales, to achieve one committed Sales Plan, and fiscal HY IBP. Brand Planning, which aligns seasonal OTB, and provides financial guidance to brand during ranging, making sure to maintain a healthy GIM. Operational demand planning, ensuring right product availability to meet the sales plan. Inventory management, managing excess and ensuring right inventory levels to meet sales plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate monthly demand review process.
  • Drive regular demand updates per the latest net sales plan across SEA countries and cluster.
  • Drive financial kick off with brand and channels to start marketing seasons, providing financial and volume guidance and ensuring consistent planning during the execution of the season. Drive GIM sign off with SLT.
  • Drive regular discussion to align KCC with the Category Leads (NS, SM, VOL, RDP) for mid and long term planning and ensure reflected accurately in IBP.
  • IBP: Drive consensus plan between Sales & Marketing.
  • Be a strong business partner for the Brand Category Planning team, to help develop their business and support critical discussions with regional/global stakeholders.
  • Lead the Operational Demand Planning (ODP) process for SEA, ensuring the integrity of RDP (rolling demand plan) upload into APO (at article level and size level) across channels and SEA countries. Ensure alignment to IBP.
  • Be a strong business partner with Supply Chain and Local Sourcing teams, providing them the full visibility of the Rolling Demand Plan (RDP) to ensure buy, phasing and capacities with local and global factories. Highlight risks & opportunities with a key article focus to support business decision making in season trading.
  • Review and challenge inventory planning assumptions to ensure optimal inventory levels supporting the sales ambitions.
  • Standard margin controlling ensures the latest demand plan aligns with the target.
  • Drive/Support cross functional demand/buy plan alignment with SEA SLT.
  • Facilitate the regular RDP, buy, and inventory review meetings.
  • Facilitate the DP section in monthly SLT (MBR) to provide update on IBP category and channel, margins and inventory to sign off latest IBP plan.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of IBP to HUB as per deadlines.
  • Leverage reporting/dashboards from EM DP or support DP related projects: GIM tool, IBP25, M3 and inventory enhancements.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Demand Planning with a proven track record of successfully managing demand planning in a large sales organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., relationship management, facilitation)

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven methodological skills (e.g., data analysis, trend forecasting)
  • High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge to challenge and drive consensus between Sales & Marketing
  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in other languages are an added plus
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of demand planning experience within a large sales organization
  • Preferable experience in the sport or clothing industry
  • Experience successfully leading, managing, and developing a team (if applicable)
