We're looking for a Director of Business Development - MMM to join our Australia East Sales team, based in Brisbane. This role is a great opportunity for someone within Worley who's ready to take the next step in leading customer engagement and business growth across our MMM sectors.

About the role

As Director of Business Development - MMM, you'll work closely with Operations and Inside Sales to position and differentiate Worley in the market, securing sustainable and profitable work. You'll play a key leadership role in developing and executing our sales plans and closing strategic opportunities.

You'll also collaborate with leaders across the business to strengthen existing client relationships, identify new opportunities, and drive growth in areas aligned to our energy transition and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities
  • Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Sales teams to develop client and pursuit strategies.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key clients.
  • Identify and grow new client relationships, particularly in decarbonisation, energy transition, renewables, and storage.
  • Lead win plan development and sales reporting throughout the pursuit cycle.
  • Support proposal, pricing, and contractual strategy development.
  • Manage opportunities through the Customer Success Platform (CSP), ensuring data quality and visibility.
  • Achieve agreed sales goals, budgets, and strategic targets.
About you
  • Significant experience in business development or project delivery within technical services or MMM related projects.
  • Strong understanding of the energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solutions-driven approach.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, project delivery, or a related discipline (commercial experience highly regarded).
