Role Overview
The Director Finance will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s financial vision. This includes overseeing all financial operations, project financing, strategic planning, and compliance functions while ensuring strong financial controls and profitability across the organization.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in real estate finance, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven record of managing complex financial ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead the overall financial strategy, ensuring alignment with Grand City’s long-term business objectives.
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO, Board, and Partners on all financial, investment, and business decisions.
- Drive strategic financial planning, forecasting, and capital management to support business growth.
- Evaluate new business ventures, partnerships, and investment opportunities.
- Oversee corporate governance, financial compliance, and risk management frameworks.
- Represent the company in financial discussions with banks, investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to ensure excellence and succession readiness.
Operational & Project Finance
- Manage end-to-end project financing — feasibility studies, ROI analysis, and funding structures.
- Ensure effective financial control, cost management, and project budget monitoring across all developments.
- Oversee treasury functions, liquidity management, and capital allocation.
- Develop and monitor financial KPIs to assess project and organizational performance.
- Ensure compliance with local tax, audit, and financial reporting regulations.
- Optimize financial systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- CA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA
- Minimum 12–15 years of progressive experience in finance, including at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate or property development industry.
- Proven expertise in project financing, investment analysis, and financial modeling.
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks, corporate finance, and governance practices.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and commercial acumen.
