Position Summary
We are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking
Director of Housekeeping
to lead and elevate housekeeping operations across all areas of a distinguished luxury property in
Doha
. This role is central to upholding world-class cleanliness, presentation, and service standards that define exceptional guest experiences.
The ideal candidate will bring a proven background from
Forbes Five-Star properties
or equivalent
ultra-luxury hospitality environments
, with the expertise to inspire excellence, foster team pride, and deliver flawless service consistency across the entire operation.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, event spaces, spa, fitness facilities, and back-of-house areas.

Develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in line with international luxury hospitality benchmarks.

Lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team of supervisors, room attendants, and support staff to achieve and sustain the highest service standards.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure pristine cleanliness, meticulous attention to detail, and consistency across all areas.

Collaborate closely with Engineering, Front Office, and Food & Beverage departments to ensure operational efficiency, timely room readiness, and outstanding guest satisfaction.

Oversee departmental budgets, payroll, and cost controls while maintaining efficiency and quality.

Implement effective training and career development programs that empower team members and build future leaders.

Ensure full compliance with hygiene, health, safety, and sustainability protocols in line with Qatar’s hospitality regulations.

Drive innovation through new technologies, eco-friendly practices, and advanced housekeeping methodologies.

Cultivate strong supplier and vendor relationships to maintain access to premium-quality products and services.

Serve as an active member of the hotel’s leadership team, contributing to strategic decisions, guest satisfaction goals, and overall operational excellence.
Qualifications & Competencies

Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or in a senior leadership role within luxury hospitality or Forbes Five-Star properties.

Must bring international experience and a fresh global perspective to the operation.

Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire multicultural teams toward shared excellence.

Strong financial acumen, with demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasting, and cost efficiencies.
