ROLE OVERVIEW

Reporting directly to the SVP,
Brand + Creative , the Director of Marketing will lead the marketing efforts across the Collared Martin Hospitality portfolio—including the Faraway brand, and an expanding collection of independent properties.

This role blends strategic leadership and creative execution, shaping the marketing vision for CMH while ensuring seamless integration between brand storytelling, digital performance, and revenue-driving initiatives. The Director of Marketing will partner closely with the ELT, Public Relation agencies, digital agencies and property-level teams to ensure each brand within the portfolio has a strong, differentiated presence in the market—aligned under a unified creative and strategic vision.

This is a rare opportunity to build and scale a marketing function from the ground up, connecting creativity with data, aligning brand development with performance marketing, and combining strategic planning with flawless execution to establish Collared Martin Hospitality as a defining voice in lifestyle and luxury hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Marketing Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and lead the comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer loyalty, and increase revenue across hotel, restaurant, and bar operations.
  • Partner with the SVP,
    Brand + Creative to translate brand vision into measurable marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen the Collared Martin portfolio.
  • Lead integrated 360° marketing campaigns across digital, print, partnerships, and experiential channels.
  • Establish clear KPIs and performance measurement frameworks to assess campaign success and continuously optimize strategy.
  • Independently own the communication and planning of cross-functional marketing initiatives across all teams, including PR, digital, CRM, social, and property leadership.
  • Collaborate with the SVP, Brand and Creative to ensure all marketing assets—visual, written, and experiential—reflect brand tone, values, and design standards.
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, and Development teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategy and business objectives.

Digital, CRM, and Performance Marketing

  • Partner with our digital marketing agency to develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across SEO, display, paid social, and channels to maximize ROI.

  • Develop and manage the automated email marketing strategy and execution, building personalized guest journeys that drive retention, repeat visitation, and brand loyalty.
  • Oversee the planning, segmentation, and optimization of automated email campaigns across the guest lifecycle and seasonal campaigns.
  • Oversee website management and optimization in partnership with our website agency, ensuring best-in-class UX, content accuracy, SEO performance, and brand consistency across all digital touchpoints.
  • Champion the Collared Martin brand voice and values across all channels and guest touchpoints.
  • Ensure consistency in tone and message across internal communications, PR, paid media, and owned platforms.

Partnerships & Public Relations

  • Partner with the SVP, Brand + Creative and AOR to develop brand partnerships, influencer collaborations, and curated experiences that amplify reach and authentically align with each brand in the portfolio.

  • Develop with ELT the PR strategy and partnerships to ensure coverage supports positioning and drives awareness and engagement.


  • 8-10 years of marketing experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury consumer brands.

  • Demonstrated success in digital marketing, CRM, and automated email programs that drive measurable results.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience leveraging data to inform creative and strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills.

  • Deep appreciation for design, place-based branding, and experience-led marketing.
