Title: Director of Photography
Experience: 4-5 years
Salary Range - 50k - 60k
Job Description:
- Plan and execute all aspects of cinematography, including camera setup, lighting design, composition, and shot selection.
- Lead and manage the camera and lighting crews on set.
- Scout and assess locations for lighting and shooting conditions.
- Select appropriate camera gear, lenses, and equipment based on the project’s visual goals.
- Maintain high standards for image quality and visual consistency across all scenes.
- Work with the post-production team to ensure the final look aligns with the intended cinematographic style.
- Manage budgets and timelines related to cinematography and camera departments
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Director of Photography or Cinematographer with a strong portfolio or showreel.
- Deep knowledge of camera systems, lenses, lighting equipment, and rigging tools.
- Strong understanding of cinematography techniques, color theory, and lighting principles.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing schedules or creative direction.
- Strong collaboration skills with directors, producers, art directors, and editors.
- Familiarity with post-production processes.
- Degree or diploma in Film, Media, or related field is preferred.
