As th
e Director of Procureme
nt, you will architect and lead enterprise-wide procurement strategies that enable sustainable growth and operational excellence. This role oversees all aspects of purchasing, strategic sourcing, and product innovation integration. You will drive organizational transformation by championing continuous improvement, building supplier partnerships, and optimizing processes, systems, and talent to achieve superior business outcome
Key Responsibilities

Formulate and execute integrated procurement strategies that align with corporate objectives across people, service, product, and brand initiatives to advance growth and performance goals.

Direct the strategic vision and operational delivery of the procurement function to maximize end-to-end supply chain efficiency, optimize the purchase-to-pay lifecycle, and enhance service performance.

Oversee purchasing operations, including order placement and contract execution.

Provide leadership in strategic sourcing—evaluating best value options, shaping contract structures, leading negotiations, and ensuring supplier performance excellence.

Drive category leadership by analyzing market dynamics, fostering product innovation, and leveraging emerging opportunities.

Champion a culture of continuous improvement by embedding structured prioritization frameworks aligned with enterprise strategies.

Steward financial accountability through development and oversight of the departmental budget.

Lead innovation-driven initiatives, prioritizing supplier collaboration to accelerate product development and differentiation in the marketplace.

Engage cross-functionally with senior leaders, including product development, marketing, and sales operations, to align R&D activities and innovation priorities.

Oversee global sourcing strategies, driving cost optimization, supplier program execution, and lifecycle management while mitigating risk through robust business continuity planning.

Strengthening S&OP processes by embedding KPI-driven governance, ensuring supplier reliability and responsiveness, and deploying performance scorecards for continuous improvement.

Guide system advancements (SAP S/4HANA) to enable operational excellence in procurement, supply planning, and demand fulfillment.

Collaborate with executive leadership to assess strategic progress, recalibrate objectives, and ensure alignment with changing business conditions.

Translate corporate strategies into actionable operational plans, applying analytics, forecasting, and coaching to deliver on KPIs.

Build and sustain a high-performance organization by recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent, ensuring robust succession planning, and fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.MBA strongly preferred.
-
10 years of progressive procurement or supply chain leadership experience, ideally within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry (Food & Beverage preferred).

Proficiency with ERP systems; SAP S/4HANA experience required.

Strong knowledge of accounting systems, inventory management, manufacturing software, order processing systems, and project management tools.

Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing applications.

Proven track record in strategic sourcing, category management (commodities preferred), and supplier relationship management (including co-packers and distributors).

Demonstrated ability to develop and execute business continuity and risk mitigation plans.

Experience leading scorecarding, KPI tracking, and performance measurement frameworks.

Expertise in new product innovation processes and supplier-driven product development.
