Dispatch Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking a Dispatch Supervisor for a reputed steel trading firm to manage and oversee dispatch operations efficiently. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in handling material dispatch, logistics coordination, and stock management in an industrial or trading environment. This position requires strong organizational and communication skills to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily dispatch operations from the warehouse.
• Ensure accurate loading and unloading of steel materials as per dispatch slips and invoices.
• Coordinate with the sales, accounts, and logistics teams for timely deliveries.
• Maintain dispatch records, gate passes, challans, and transport documents.
• Monitor vehicle scheduling, transport arrangements, and delivery follow-ups.
• Verify stock availability and maintain proper documentation of inward and outward materials.
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols during material handling.
• Report daily dispatch status to management and support process improvement.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of dispatch operations, logistics, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with steel materials, weights, and specifications preferred.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise workers efficiently.
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Email, Documentation).

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Graduate or Diploma in any discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in dispatch, warehouse, or logistics operations (steel or trading industry preferred).
• Male candidates only.

Working Hours

10:00 AM to 7:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Compensation

Salary: 15,000 – 22,000 per month (based on experience and skills)
