Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives across multiple territories. In this pivotal role, you will drive business growth by developing strategic sales plans, managing key accounts, and motivating a high-performing sales team. Your energetic approach and expertise in outside and inside sales will empower you to identify new business opportunities, foster strong customer relationships, and expand our market presence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the company's success through innovative management and targeted business development strategies. This is a business, you are paid 100% through commissions, bonuses, overrides, residual renewals, stock incentives, and other incentives provided from Aflac Worldwide Headquarters. The payment amounts shown are set from examples from current District Sales Coordinators in our region.

Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive sales strategies tailored to each territory to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead, motivate, build, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to maximize productivity.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive lead generation, cold calling, and networking within target markets.
  • Manage existing client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, and upselling opportunities.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting features that meet their needs.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast revenue, and analyze market trends for strategic planning.
  • Recruit, Train, and Develop New Associates.
  • Eventually find an office space suitable for the organization and conducive to the success of your team.
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status for reporting purposes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sales techniques through ongoing training in technical sales methods and product knowledge.

Experience

  • Proven success in outside sales, B2B (business-to-business) sales, or territory management roles with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Strong management experience leading sales teams with a focus on coaching and performance development.
  • Demonstrated ability in business development through lead generation, cold calling, and account management strategies.
  • Familiarity with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities and analyzing data.
  • Experience in marketing collaboration to develop effective campaigns that support sales objectives.
  • Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and product demonstrations within technical or retail environments.
  • Excellent analysis skills for interpreting sales data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Knowledge of technology or industrial product sectors is a plus but not required; a passion for learning new products is essential. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $68,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
