Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage project documentation for our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate control, distribution, tracking, and archiving of all technical and project-related documents in line with company standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage all project documentation including technical drawings, material submittals, RFIs, correspondence, reports, and quality records.
- Ensure proper document numbering, version control, and document formatting according to project requirements.
- Receive, review, and upload project documents into the document management system (DMS) and ensure timely distribution to relevant departments.
- Track document revisions and ensure teams are working with the latest approved versions.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, procurement, and project teams to ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and maintain document logs, transmittals, and registers for internal and external submissions.
- Ensure compliance with company documentation procedures and quality standards.
- Support project managers by providing updated documentation and status reports when required.
- Safeguard the confidentiality and accessibility of all controlled documents.
- Archive final project documentation and prepare handover packages at project completion.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience as a Document Controller in a manufacturing or project-based environment.. and various platforms of the client
- Strong knowledge of project documentation standards, engineering drawings, and submittal processes.
- Proficiency in document management systems (DMS), MS Office, and PDF editing tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in fabrication, manufacturing, EPC, or water/wastewater projects (added advantage).
- Familiarity with ISO documentation processes and quality systems.
