Working Days: Sunday to Thursday
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Disaster Recovery (DR) Administrator to join our client’s IT infrastructure team in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing DR plans, performing risk assessments, testing recovery procedures, and coordinating with vendors for infrastructure support and service continuity.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Conduct risk assessments and business impact analysis to identify critical business processes and recovery requirements.
Ensure DR infrastructure, backups, and systems are always audit-ready and compliant with organizational standards.
Plan and coordinate periodic DR drills and document test results and improvements.
Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for DR-related services, hardware, software, and support.
Maintain DR documentation, including recovery runbooks, escalation matrices, and vendor contact logs.
Work closely with vendors to ensure SLAs and support contracts are in place and updated.
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and quick restoration in case of outages.
Prepare regular reports on DR readiness and vendor performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in DR, IT Infrastructure, or Systems Administration.
Hands-on experience with backup & recovery tools, replication technologies, and DR automation.
Familiarity with risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, especially with external vendors.
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., DRII, CBCP, ITIL, or similar) are a plus.
Experience working in the KSA market and understanding local compliance standards is preferred.
