Drafting Engineer

1. Position Overview

The Drafting Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed 2D fabrication drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and layout plans based on design inputs and 3D models.
This role demands high precision, strong CAD skills, and close coordination with design, production, and documentation teams to ensure timely and quality drawing release.

This position is ideal for female candidates with attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and interest in industrial product design and documentation.

2. Key Responsibilities

Prepare 2D fabrication, assembly, and layout drawings based on concept and 3D models.

• Develop detailed part drawings with proper dimensions, tolerances, and welding symbols.
• Generate BOM tables, section details, and title blocks as per drawing standards.
• Support creation of Master Document List (MDL) and Design Document Register (DDR).
• Maintain and update the Drawing Register and ensure document numbering consistency.
• Coordinate with Design Engineers, Nesting Engineers, and Production team for clarification on dimensions, views, or fabrication feasibility.

3. Experience

0 to 3 years of experience in mechanical design ( Female candidates preferred)

4. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Timely completion of drawing assignments.
• Accuracy and error-free output.
• Adherence to drawing standards and formats.
• Number of rework/revisions due to drafting errors.
• Coordination effectiveness with design and production teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
