Job Description
- Coordinate, manage, and oversee the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across all project stages, ensuring full compliance with the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and company BIM standards.
- Develop, maintain, and integrate multidisciplinary BIM models for Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP trades to ensure accuracy, consistency, and coordination.
- Lead model coordination and clash detection sessions using Navisworks or similar platforms, identifying and resolving design conflicts proactively with the design and construction teams.
- Support the preparation of construction and shop drawings, quantity take-offs, and schedules derived directly from BIM models to assist project planning and procurement.
- Ensure all models and related documentation are developed according to required Levels of Development (LOD) and align with project information requirements.
- Maintain an organized BIM data environment, ensuring model version control, naming conventions, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance and training to project team members to enhance BIM competency and promote digital collaboration.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in BIM coordination and management within the construction or engineering industry (GCC experience preferred).
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD; experience with BIM 360, Dynamo, or similar tools is a strong advantage.
- In-depth understanding of BIM standards, BEP implementation, LOD definitions, and multidisciplinary coordination workflows.
- Strong knowledge of model-based quantity take-offs, 4D/5D integration, and clash detection processes.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and documentation quality.
- Ability to coordinate multiple disciplines and manage priorities under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills to drive collaboration among project stakeholders.
- GCC experience and a valid driving license are highly preferred.
