Dynatrace Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain Dynatrace dashboards using DQL, including SLO (Service Level Objective) and SLI (Service Level Indicator) dashboards.

Utilize Dynatrace Query Insights (DQI) to identify, analyze, and track key service performance metrics across critical business applications.

Configure monitoring for applications, services, and infrastructure components to provide real-time visibility into system performance and user experience.

Implement proactive alerting mechanisms to detect anomalies and performance degradation.

Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to troubleshoot complex performance issues.

Participate in APM tool integration with enterprise ecosystems (e.g., ServiceNow, Splunk, or CI/CD pipelines).

Define and document best practices for Dynatrace configuration, monitoring, and data visualization.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of observability and incident response processes.

4–6 years of experience in Application Performance Monitoring (APM), with at least 2 years in Dynatrace.

Strong expertise in Dynatrace Query Language (DQL) for creating custom dashboards and analytics views.

Hands-on experience in building and managing SLO/SLI dashboards for business-critical applications.

In-depth understanding of DQI (Dynatrace Query Insights) for data-driven performance measurement.

Solid knowledge of application and infrastructure monitoring, alerting, and reporting.

Familiarity with APM concepts, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.

Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

Exposure to APM integrations with DevOps and ITSM tools preferred.

Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Dynatrace Certified Professional (or equivalent certification).

ITIL Foundation or other observability-related certifications (preferred, not mandatory).
