Early Childhood/Elementary Music Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood/Elementary Music Teacher to inspire students through engaging music education. This role involves designing and implementing innovative music curricula that foster a love for music while supporting overall childhood development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in diverse educational settings, including private schools, Montessori environments, or early intervention programs. Strong communication skills, classroom management expertise, and a background in curriculum development are essential to create a dynamic and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive private music lessons on ukulele, guitar, and piano, tailored to early childhood and elementary students.
• Facilitate two group ukulele classes for grades 1 through 5.
• Facilitate one music science class, incorporating music theory, sound waves and frequency.
• Facilitate three music and movement classes for early childhood, ages 1.5 - 5 years old.

Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in music
• 12 ECE units
• experience teaching in early childhood and elementary setting
• Guitar, ukulele, piano expertise
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies and experience working with children exhibiting various behavioral needs is highly valued.
