What Makes a McKibbon eCommerce Marketing Manager?
As a member of the Digital eCommerce & Marketing team, the eCommerce Marketing Manager is responsible for driving online and digital marketing efforts for a select group of hotels within the McKibbon portfolio. This role will support Topline Revenue through effective digital marketing strategies set by the Senior Director of Digital Commerce & Marketing and ensure successful execution across assigned properties while embracing the McKibbon Guiding Principles.
Day in the life

In collaboration with the Revenue Generation team, develop comprehensive marketing plans targeting hotel-specific needs and growth opportunities.

Implement digital marketing strategies across various channels such as hotel websites, online travel agents, email marketing, local listings and more.

Manage paid media strategy implementation and ongoing optimization
-
Communicate key digital marketing metrics to hotel teams, corporate leadership and stakeholders.

Develop and implement promotional strategies in partnership with revenue management and property teams
-
Manage property email marketing campaigns for assigned portfolio
-
Responsible for the photography process from pre-shoot planning and sourcing, oversight of post-production and distribution processes.

Manage online content of all major sites including property websites, OTA sites, third party and local listings.

Oversee agency partners on the execution of property-specific marketing initiatives such as SEO, paid media, email marketing, etc.

Partner with Communications team on content creation, graphic design needs, social media content strategies and ad creative.

Requirements
Proven track record of driving key digital marketing metrics by managing one or more of the following tactics:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Paid Media such as metasearch, paid search, sponsored listings and display

Social Media Advertising / Retargeting

Intermediate level of Excel knowledge

Ability to coordinate and deploy projects across multiple disciplines

Data-driven with the ability to present findings to stakeholders
-
Desire to grow and learn
-
2+ years’ experience in Online marketing, Digital marketing, or Internet marketing
-
2+ years’ experience in hospitality/hotel field

Knowledge of digital marketing tools such as SEMrush, Power BI, global brand reporting systems

Strong business acumen, including financial management, budgeting and revenue optimization

Adaptability in shifting internal and external conditions

Proficient in Microsoft office products including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.
