About this opportunity:

We are now looking for an EHS Distribution & Warehousing Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide Environment, Health, Safety, and Well-being (EHS) support across assigned projects or contracts across the region. In this role, you will partner with Project global team, sourcing and suppliers, to ensure compliance with legal, customer, and Ericsson EHS requirements, while fostering a proactive safety culture aimed at achieving Target Zero. You will play a key role in driving EHS competence, risk management, and continuous improvement within project operations. What you will do:

  • Implementing global, regional, and local EHS management system requirements, frameworks, and operational processes and initiatives at unit level to secure compliance with applicable EHS requirements and effective risk control.
  • Develop and Implement EHS plans and governance model for Warehousing & distribution operations
  • Ensure Operations compliance with local legal, customer, and Ericsson EHS standards
  • Act as the primary EHS interface for Internal and suppliers’ engagements and audits
  • Define and maintain the EHS responsibility matrix for the project
  • Conduct on-site EHS audits and inspections
  • Lead Stop Work Authority case investigations and support incident resolution
  • Collaborate on investigations of serious incidents and lead corrective action initiatives
  • Organize and share lessons learned across teams
  • Create and deliver EHS awareness materials, campaigns, and communication initiatives
  • Represent EHS in supplier governance and performance review meetings
  • Ensuring the effective implementation of EHS processes across the unit.
  • Representing the unit in audits and assessments as the EHS SPOC and driving actions arising from them.
  • Assure and review Business continuity management plans
  • Monitoring implementation of the EHS processes and plans systematically and enforcing strict adherence to the defined mitigation actions.
  • Implementing the EHS governance framework in the unit and ensuring it is effective and value-adding.
  • Implementing Global KPIs in the unit and defining additional metrics if required to measure and monitor adherence and effectiveness of operational controls as needed.
  • Ensuring robust information systems and data management practices to ensure accuracy and quality, completeness, and integrity of EHS data.
  • Monitoring and analyzing trends to monitor progress and performances against defined objectives, targets, and
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive continual improvement. Preparing reports to provide regular progress
  • updates to management.
  • Translating analytics into non-technical insights to help the organization identify and define improvement
  • programs based on empirical evidence and data analysis.

The skills you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent EHS experience
  • Knowledge in ISO 45001, ISO 14001
  • NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occupational health & Safety
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS or well-being-related roles
  • Deep knowledge of EHS standards and practices
  • Ability to conduct risk assessments and manage incident responses
  • Strong planning, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in dynamic, project-based environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Fluency in English
  • French is a plus
  • Traveling flexibility of > 50% of the time
