Key Responsibilities:1. Compliance & Policy Implementation
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EHS regulations and company policies.
- Develop, review, and update EHS management systems, procedures, and guidelines.
- Prepare and submit statutory EHS reports and documentation as required by authorities.
2. Risk Assessment & Hazard Control
- Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and operations.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
- Oversee waste management, pollution control, and hazardous materials handling.
3. Training & Awareness
- Conduct EHS inductions and training sessions for workers
- Conduct TBT on regular basis
- Promote safety awareness campaigns and environmental initiatives.
- Maintain records of all training, incidents, and EHS audits.
4. Incident Investigation & Reporting
- Lead or support investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses.
- Prepare incident reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of corrective measures.
5. Emergency Preparedness
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills.
- Ensure emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, spill kits, PPE, etc.) is maintained and available.
6. Continuous Improvement
- Recommend improvements to processes to enhance EHS performance.
- Participate in sustainability and environmental improvement projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications: NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification preferred.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in EHS or HSE roles (manufacturing, construction, oil & gas, or similar industries).
