Job Description – E&I Estimation Engineer (Oil & Gas –Projects)

Reports To: Lead Estimation Engineer / Estimation Manager / Proposals Manager

Job Purpose:

To prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) works in EPC / LSTK / Maintenance / Call-off contracts related to ADNOC Onshore and Offshore oil & gas projects. The role involves analyzing tender documents, BOQs, drawings, and specifications to ensure technical compliance and optimal cost efficiency, supporting bid submissions and project cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and interpret ADNOC / PMC tender documents including ITT, scope of work, specifications, drawings, and project standards.

· Identify scope inclusions, exclusions, and potential commercial/technical risks.

· Perform detailed quantity take-offs for E&I works from IFC/Tender drawings and datasheets.

· Prepare material, equipment, and manpower cost estimates in line with ADNOC norms.

· Evaluate vendor/subcontractor quotations and compare technically & commercially.

· Prepare unit rates for installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

· Coordinate with suppliers/OEMs for technical compliance and updated pricing.

· Support proposal team in preparation of BOQ clarifications, deviations, and bid summaries.

· Prepare cost breakdown summaries (MTO, manhours, equipment, consumables, overheads).

· Maintain estimation database and cost library for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in electrical / Instrumentation / Control Engineering.

- Minimum 6–10 years of experience in E&I estimation within Oil & Gas EPC projects.

- UAE / ADNOC project experience is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of ADNOC standards, specifications, and bidding procedures.

- Proficient in MS Office Suite.

- Familiar with reading and interpreting P&IDs, SLDs, cable schedules, and layout drawings.

- Good understanding of construction methodology, manhour norms, and market prices.

- Exposure to both onshore and offshore ADNOC projects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
