Electrical Design Engineer

Our client BAE Systems, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join their team on a contract basis, based in Samlesbury. This role is pivotal to the Air Business Unit and requires attendance on site three days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on the F35 project
• Collaborating within a team that includes both permanent and contract staff
• Managing electrical installation tasks, excluding circuits
• Focusing on harnesses and 3D harness work
• Utilising CATIA V5 and Teamcentre software
• Contribution to the checking process in due course
• Supporting ongoing projects with significant workloads

Job Requirements:

• BAE-Electrical designer skills
• Experience within the aerospace
• Proficiency in CATIA V5
• Strong understanding of electrical installations and 3D harness work
• Flexibility to work on site in Samlesbury for three days a week
