We seek for “Electrical Designer” who will be able to demonstrate knowledge in Hitachi Energy's Power Transformers Factory, currently located in Kartal, Istanbul , with a planned relocation to Dilovası, Kocaeli within the next 4–6 months, with below qualifications:

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Design power transformers tailored to customer specifications using Hitachi Energy’s own design tools based on its advanced technology.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations across multiple domains including dielectrics, magnetics, thermal, and acoustics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical design, production, testing, purchasing, sales, and project management to deliver customized solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards (TEİAŞ, IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.), procedures, and guidelines.
• Prepare technical documentation including customer drawings, manufacturing drawings and instructions, and bill of materials in line with project timelines.
• Participate in customer design reviews, providing technical support and expertise as needed.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external & internal regulations, procedures & guidelines.
  
  

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering,
• Minimum 4 years of experience in power transformer design (experience with shunt reactors is a plus),
• Strong understanding of transformer design principles and influencing parameters & Familiarity with international standards (IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.),
• Skilled in reading and analyzing customer specifications and preparing technical documentation & Experience in participating in design reviews and presenting technical content & Experience in AutoCAD, experience with FEM software is an advantage,
• Fluent in Turkish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Comfortable working with global technical teams and open to international travel.
