Electrical Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and improving electrical systems that support our concrete batching plants, heavy equipment, and construction operations.

The Electrical Engineer will oversee all aspects of electrical system design, installation, and maintenance within our production plants and project sites. This role involves ensuring equipment reliability, compliance with safety standards, and the integration of efficient electrical and automation systems that enhance operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems for batching plants, conveyors, and material handling equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and upgrades.
• Develop and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and production teams to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
• Implement preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards.
• Support automation and control system upgrades (PLCs, sensors, motors, etc.).
• Manage electrical contractors and vendors as needed for plant and project work.
• Provide technical support for field operations and construction projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum [3–5] years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction, manufacturing, or ready-mix concrete industry.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor controls, and PLC-based automation.
• Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining plant control systems.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 70E, and relevant electrical codes and standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar electrical design software.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
