Orano USA is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support Project IKE. This role involves the design, analysis, and maintenance of electrical systems for nuclear facilities. Under general supervision and reporting to the Electrical Engineering Lead, the engineer will contribute to power distribution, system integration, and field support.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and analyze electrical systems including power distribution, grounding, and lighting.

Prepare electrical drawings, load calculations, and specifications.

Support installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, and nuclear electrical standards.

Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure integrated facility design.

Participate in design reviews and technical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
BS in Electrical Engineering, plus 2–3 years of experience.
Advanced degrees or PE license may substitute for experience or education.
Must be eligible for security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with nuclear or DOE electrical systems.
Proficiency in electrical modeling tools (e.g., ETAP, SKM PowerTools)
