We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer – Solar Consultant with 5 years of proven expertise in the UAE and MENA markets. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, be approved by DEWA or other UAE grid authorities (e.g., ADDC/AADC in Abu Dhabi), and demonstrate strong capability in analyzing solar energy requirements, designing ESS (Energy Storage Systems), and delivering comprehensive solar solutions.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in solar energy projects within UAE and MENA markets.
• Approval/accreditation with DEWA, ADDC, AADC, or other UAE utility authorities, with strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in solar needs assessment, ESS system design, and implementation.
• Proficiency in solar design and analysis software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD, Helioscope, or equivalent).
• Strong skills in project planning, cost estimation, and financial analysis.
• Experience preparing and submitting approval documentation for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and other UAE utility authorities.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also collaborating effectively within a team environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead technical assessments, system sizing, and feasibility studies for solar and ESS projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, load calculations, and system layouts.
• Carry out project cost estimation, financial analysis, and preparation of BOQs.
• Coordinate approvals with DEWA, ADDC, AADC, and other local authorities.
• Support project execution from planning through to commissioning.
• Prepare accurate technical documentation, drawings, and approval submissions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
