Electrical Project Manager

IVY Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical, communications, and fire alarm scopes for a major NYC Transit (NYCT) assignment, including the Broadway Junction Station Complex upgrades.

This role will manage planning, coordination, and delivery efforts across electrical, communications, signal, and fire alarm systems, working closely with subcontractors, project partners, and Transit Authority stakeholders to ensure successful execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead pre-construction efforts including design reviews, scope interpretation, and schedule development for electrical/communications work.
• Manage subcontractors, procurement, shop drawings, scheduling, RFIs, and coordination with all trades.
• Oversee field execution of electrical, communications, and fire alarm installations, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with NYCT standards.
• Track progress, update CPM schedules, manage delays and change orders, and support cost and resource management.
• Coordinate with TA Services, A&P, bulletins, and GO planning throughout project delivery.
• Support project close-out including final payments, documentation, and turnover requirements.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an Electrical Project Manager on large MTA/NYCT infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 10 years of NYCT stations experience.
• Strong understanding of NYCT standards, operating procedures, and system requirements (electrical, comms, signal, fire alarm).
• Strong communication and coordination skills with both field and client-facing stakeholders.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• OSHA 30 and NYCT Track Safety required.
• Must comply with MTA drug and alcohol testing requirements.
