Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and installation work on LV and MV systems including motors, switchgear, panels, transformers, MCCs, and distribution boards.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults using test instruments such as multimeters, insulation testers, and clamp meters.
- Support the disconnection, removal, and reconnection of electrical systems during shutdowns.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical components and systems.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, single line diagrams, and job packages.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), permit to work (PTW), and confined space entry (if applicable).
- Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams during integrated maintenance tasks.
- Document work performed and report any anomalies or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Adhere to shutdown timelines and quality standards under high pressure environments.
Qualifications
- Education: Technical Diploma or Industrial Training Certificate in Electrical Technology or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical shutdown within petrochemical, refinery, or industrial plant environments.
- Experience: Proven experience in shutdowns, turnarounds, or major maintenance events.
- Certifications (Preferred): Aramco / SABIC Permit Holder certification, OSHA / NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety training, LOTO awareness training, Cable jointing and termination certification (if applicable).
12 Hours duty/7 days a week
