Email Marketing Specialist

Role Overview & Primary Focus

The virtual Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for providing strategic support and/or implementation to Imperative Concierge Services' clients by designing, executing, and analyzing targeted email marketing campaigns that drive engagement, lead nurturing, and conversion within their specific industries. The overall purpose of this role is to deliver high-value email marketing projects that help our clients transform their subscriber lists into reliable revenue streams.

Core Duties:

• Strategy & Segmentation: Develop and implement a comprehensive email strategy, including list segmentation, to ensure messages are relevant and timely for diverse client needs.
• Content & Design: Craft compelling email copy and design visually appealing, mobile-responsive email templates (within the designated ESP) that align with the client's specific brand guidelines.
• Automation & Flow: Set up and manage automated email sequences (e.g., welcome series, lead nurturing, client onboarding) to maximize efficiency and client journey progression.
• A/B Testing & Optimization: Conduct rigorous A/B testing on subject lines, content, send times, and design elements to continuously improve key metrics (open rate, click-through rate, conversion).
• Performance Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics to derive actionable insights and inform future client strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years demonstrated professional experience in email marketing, focused on B2B or service-based businesses.
• Platform Expertise: Mandatory proficiency with a top-tier Email Service Provider (ESP) such as ConvertKit, Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc., and a proven ability to manage complex automations and segmentation/tagging.
• Skills: Strong copywriting, editing, and quality assurance (QA) skills for email content. Must be proficient in A/B testing methodologies and data analysis.
• Deliverables: Ability to complete the project and adhere to strict deadlines and communication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow automation software.
• Experience supporting clients or projects across multiple, diverse industries.
• Familiarity with visual asset requirements for email and the ability to collaborate with a graphic designer.
