Main Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnoses of patients in emergency situations
• Provide immediate medical treatment and interventions for various acute conditions
• Collaborate effectively with nursing staff and medical colleagues to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to inform treatment decisions
• Accurately document patient assessments and care provided in the medical records
• Engage in departmental initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Emergency Medicine
• Board certification or active board eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• A valid medical license to practice in the state
• Experience in emergency care settings is highly desirable
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
