Employment Based Immigration Attorney

Foster LLP, a leading immigration law firm delivering the full spectrum of U.S. and global immigration solutions, seeks experienced candidates to fill attorney positions in our Houston, TX office. Foster assists clients with obtaining immigration status, visas and work authorization in countries for U.S. and third-country nationals around the world.

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, with a strong international bent. Attorneys will regularly communicate with case stakeholders around the world to advise and obtain the necessary information for efficient and prompt case resolution.

Responsibilities:

• Research U.S. and Global immigration law and procedures;
• Prepare and implement case strategy;
• Represent clients in all aspects of immigration law;
• Supervise and interact with all legal staff;
• Communicate with Firm’s clients and global partners;
• Manage and prioritize high volume caseload;
• Maintain case records and run reports utilizing case tracking system.

Minimum requirements:

• Juris Doctor; licensed and in good standing to practice law
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Foreign language fluency is preferred.
• 5-10 years of employment based immigration with PERM applications, H-1B, L-1, and E visas.
• Excellent writing, organizational and research skills.
• Individual must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, and have strong analytical and organizational skills
• Experienced in a fast-paced, high-volume business immigration work environment.
