Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Advise clients on a wide range of employment law matters including hiring, terminations, workplace policies, wage and hour compliance, and employee disputes
  • Provide employment support on M&A and other transactional matters
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing employment agreements, handbooks, and separation agreements
  • Support litigation strategy and handle portions of employment disputes or litigation
  • Conduct internal investigations for clients as needed

Job Requirements:

  • JD from a nationally recognized law school
  • 1–3 years of employment law experience at a law firm
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Interest in both employment counseling and litigation
  • Licensed to practice in California or eligible to waive in
  • Experience with M&A-related employment issues – preferred
  • Background handling internal investigations – preferred
  • Prior tech or startup client experience – preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $225,000.00 - $260,000.00 per year
