Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Energy Engineer with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems to join our team. This role is dedicated to a major energy retrofit project in Arar. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) to improve building performance, reduce energy consumption, and ensure project objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive energy audits and on-site assessments of existing MEP systems (HVAC, lighting, electrical distribution, plumbing, etc.).

Identify and analyze potential Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) and calculate potential energy savings, payback periods, and return on investment (ROI).

Prepare detailed technical proposals, engineering designs, and specifications for the approved retrofit solutions.

Manage the on-site implementation of MEP retrofit works, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

Oversee the testing, commissioning, and performance verification of upgraded systems.

Develop and implement Measurement & Verification (M&V) plans to accurately track and report energy savings.

Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically in energy retrofit or energy services projects is required.

Must hold a valid Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certificate from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).

Strong technical expertise across both mechanical (HVAC, chillers, pumps) and electrical (lighting, power systems, controls) domains.

Proven experience in conducting ASHRAE Level I, II, and III energy audits.

Proficiency with energy modeling software and M&V protocols (e.g., IPMVP).

Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.

Willingness to be based full-time in Arar for the duration of the project.
