What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Engineer – R&D (Component Design) who will work for Refrigerator Product Directorate.

• Designing and selecting proper electromechanical and cooling components and defining their specifications for each refrigeration application.
• Designing test methods for each component to simulate performance and life cycles and perform these tests to guarantee the quality of each component.
• Communicating with the suppliers and finding new suppliers for the design and cost requirements.
• Following quality issues for the related components from fieldand line rejects, and determining the necessary actions by using proper quality tools
• Communicate with purchasing and other departments to select the proper components.
• Implementing the components to the system by testing, trial productions, etc. with the cooperation of other departments.
• Following related component and refrigerator standards, communicate with related standard responsible people to implement the necessary changes on the system.
• Having the responsibility to extend the component business studies to other plants of Arcelik and also lead their component business.
  
  
  

The position is located in Eskişehir.

How do we describe the perfect match?

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Mechanical Engineering,
• Minimum 0-1 years of experience in R&D,
• Knowledge of refrigeration components and manufacturing processes,
• Knowledge of Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics, Fluid Dynamics and algorithms,
• Knowledge of Quality tools, reliability, problem solving methods
• Knowledge of performance and safety regulations
• Having intercultural experience in international teams,
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Programs,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Thinking broadly about business,
• Understanding needs of the market & customer,
• Having the desire to do outstanding jobs,
• Recognizing and understanding emotions of other people,
• Listening different perspectives and showing flexibility,
• Building collaboration,
• Clear in communicating thoughts and ideas.
