What awaits you in this role?

We are looking for a passionate Engineer - R&D (Software Design) who will join our team at Electronics Product Directorate.

• Participating in Software Design R&D projects for developing of new products,
• Working actively in Embedded SW development and making modification/adaptation for existing products considering cost, quality, manufacturability, and time schedule criteria's,
• Maintaining current codebase for troubleshooting bugs and adding new features,
• Debugging system-level issues and finding root causes and solutions,
• Taking a role in design and code reviews; writing software specifications and unit tests.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or a related Engineering field,
• Having the desire to work on consumer electronics products and adapt to new technologies,
• Knowledge in software design, data structures, and algorithms,
• Knowledge on Object-Oriented Programming (OOP),
• Knowledge on Linux OS and/or Android operating systems,
• Experience in Java or C++
• Knowledge on Full Stack (back-end & front-end development) Web Development
• Knowledge on version control and code review systems such as Git, Gerrit, repo tool,
• Knowledge with Android application development,
• Knowledge with AWS technologies,
• Knowledge in AI Applications,
• Knowledge on bug tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Knowledge of the Scrum framework and agile software development practices is a plus,
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English,
• Ability to collaborate in a remote agile environment,
• Flexible and open to new perspectives and diversity,
• A great team player with a self-initiative mindset.
