Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Engineering Surveyor to join our team! In this role you will get to play a key role in the Cliff Stabilization project across the whole development.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Surveyor – Instrument Technician works in the field as part of a survey crew performing various surveying activities. Work in the field includes climbing, bending, walking, etc.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides support to Project Team. Carries and sets up survey equipment and marks measurements, as directed. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Supervision Received -Construction Superintendent Supervision Given - None-Required. Internal Contacts - All employees on project External Contacts - Client

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma and typically 5+ year's experience.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES: Knowledge of Survey instruments and equipment used in surveying. Knowledge of survey terminology and descriptive materials including maps, plats drawings and specifications. Ability to perform basic calculations.
