Access unlimited LinkedIn Learning courses and invest in your personal and professional development Our Role We're seeking a passionate enterprise communications and events lead to join our Capability, Communications & Culture Chapter on a 12-month fixed term parental leave contract. You will play acritical role in strengthening our organisational story and culture by crafting communications and enterprise experiences that bring our ambition, growth plan and extraordinary culture to life.In this role, you will apply your expertise in effective communication, storytelling and events management to shape the messages and moments that connect and inspire our 7-Eleven Australia team. You'll partner with leaders in the People Tribe, store communications team and even our CEO to do your best work.Next year, a major focus in this role will be the end-to-end leadership of a significant, organisation-wide three-day event. This will involve shaping the event's narrative and themes, coordinating teams across the organisation, and managing external event partners to deliver an experience that is seamless, energising, and memorable. Key responsibilities Translate our strategic ambition into clear and inspiring messages that energise our team members Develop communication materials and brief stakeholder to drive consistency and align to enterprise priorities Partner with our senior leaders to develop high-impact executive communications such as statements, scripts and strategic updates Manage key support office communication channels to share key messages and drive engagement Manage the end-to-end delivery of key communication and engagement moments for our support office such as hybrid 'townhalls', video updates or in-person connections Significantly contribute to the design and delivery of a milestone multi-day, in-person event for over 1300 attendees What you'll bring Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with confidence with operating at the c-suite level. Strong storytelling capability, turning the complex into simple and compelling messages that resonate with our diverse workforce. Outstanding written communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Confidence using and evolving digital platforms - particularly SharePoint, Viva Engage and WorkJam. Demonstrated end-to-end events management experience including collaboration with senior leaders and external delivery partners. Confidence in photography and videography such as shooting and editing for in-house content. Proven ability to oversee and track project and events budgets, balancing creative ambitions within cost targets. Adaptability and agility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
