We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Entry-Level Drafter / BIM Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual looking to develop their skills in Revit and structural drafting while contributing to meaningful engineering projects.

About the Role

As an Entry-Level Drafter / BIM Designer, you will work under the direction of senior engineers and the BIM Manager to prepare structural drawings, 3D models, and documentation using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD. You’ll assist in producing accurate, high-quality deliverables while learning industry standards, structural systems, and best practices. This position offers strong potential for professional growth and advancement within our design team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit structural drawings and BIM models under the supervision of project engineers.
• Develop detailed plans, elevations, sections, and connection details in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Follow established BIM standards, templates, and file management procedures.
• Assist in maintaining project documentation and drawing organization.
• Coordinate with engineers and project team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in models and drawings.
• Incorporate redlines, markups, and design revisions efficiently and accurately.
• Support the BIM Manager with template updates, family library maintenance, and project setup when needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of drafting or BIM experience (internship or academic project experience considered).
• Basic proficiency with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with structural systems or construction drawings preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills (a plus, but not required)

• Experience with Bluebeam, Dynamo, or Navisworks.
• Exposure to BIM coordination workflows or structural design processes.
• Interest in pursuing a career in structural drafting or BIM management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
