The mission of the Department of Technology and Enterprise Business Solutions (TEBS) is to be responsive, collaborative, and innovative in providing technology solutions and services to facilitate the delivery of a wide range of services in all branches of government. The department strives to provide its solutions and consultative services in a cost-effective, timely, and high-quality fashion to reduce service times, avoid inflated costs, reduce information security risk, and improve the quality of County services through automation-assisted process improvement. The department facilitates business and reengineering processes to improve legacy workflow and streamline services to our customers.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Department of Technology and Business Enterprise Solutions, Office of Digital Transformation, is responsible for the operations of the County's core business systems (financials, human resources, procurement, and order/warehouse management). Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) provides production support and supports business owners in meeting their operational needs, adapting to the ongoing and changing environment, reengineering business processes to improve efficiency, implementing new initiatives, and staying abreast of systemic enhancements and improvements to the County's ERP systems.
ERP seeks a highly skilled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Functional Business Analyst to provide support for Financials and work cross-functionally in an Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) environment.
The selected candidate in this position will provide day-to-day support for Oracle EBS Financials and apply their significant knowledge of financial business processes, terminology and requirements.
The array of duties and responsibilities requires proven expertise in functional business processes and mastery of Oracle EBS to identify business needs, recommend solutions, and work collaboratively with subject matter experts, business owners and users.
The selected candidate will apply excellent interpersonal and written skills to their communications and be able to adapt in an ever-changing environment. The duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
The position will require work schedule flexibility including some after-hours, and weekend work if necessary to meet operational or customer requirements.
As part of the selection process, candidates will be required to complete a medical history form to assess your ability to safely perform the essential duties of the role and undergo a urine drug screening prior to appointment.
A criminal background and credit history check will be conducted on the selected candidate prior to appointment and will be a significant factor in the hiring decision.
Experience: Four (4) years of professional experience with enterprise systems in the Finance domain, specifically using at least two modules of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), OBIEE, or related Oracle Financial and Supply Chain modules.

Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resource Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, or another field from an accredited college or university. Certifications in specific applications may be required, depending on the duties of the position
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted. For applicants possessing very hard-to-find skills which are a critical need to the department/agency, training and certification may be accepted in lieu of full degree requirements.
