Escalator Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Escalator Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works on escalators and moving walkways to ensure their safe and reliable operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspection, cleaning, and servicing of escalators and moving walkways.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and service calls.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Record maintenance and repair activities accurately.
• Coordinate with the team and supervisors regarding parts requirements and job progress.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with major escalator brands (e.g., Schindler, Otis, KONE, Mitsubishi).
• Knowledge of local safety and maintenance regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
