Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:

• The Estimation engineer will prepare detailed estimates for different projects. Revise and conclude incoming Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), Bill of Quantities (BOQ). Need to quickly and thoroughly gain technical & commercial knowledge of all company’s products, systems, as well as competitor’s products & systems.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

• Develop and verify Material Take Off (MTOs), equipment and bulk quantities against P&IDs and drawings. Develop multi-discipline concepts, detailed and definitive cost estimates for Projects.
• Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness and compliance with defined scope of work.
• Interact with multiple organizations to review, discuss project scope and estimate basis and consult on company estimating methods/procedures.
• Support technically in review of design packages and drawings.
• Assist project management and contracting personnel with bid analysis and contract negotiations.
• Liason with Suppliers for material availability, cost & delivery for projects.
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
• Cold Calling and Sales Coordination.
• Upgrade on changing developments in estimating advances by reviewing technical literature, contact with contractors, visits to construction locations and attending professional and technical meetings.
• Study and interpret Engineering drawing and technical specifications to develop estimates.
• Assist in make and buy estimate decision process. Collaborate with service, projects, products and management to determine various solutions required for projects.
• Identify and target potential clients for AMC sales through research and networking.
• Present and demonstrate the benefits of our AMC offerings, effectively communicating value propositions to clients.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing to finalize sales and achieve revenue goals.
• Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration / engineering or industrial design.

Experience:

• Proven working experience of at least 3 years in project estimation or in a related field.

Required Skills and Capabilities:

• Be comfortable using Estimation Software preferably Zoho Books or similar software.
• Be confident using MS Excel.
• Be confident in studying Engineering Drawings
• Be comfortable using MS Office, Email.
• Work well within a team.
• Creative and innovative thinking skills.
• Problem-solving skills.

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Location: Lodha Supremus, Kolshet Road, Thane(W)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,420.53 - ₹29,660.13 per month
