Job Description:
Litco Group is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estimation Engineer – Steel Fabrication to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing quantities, preparing quotations, and reviewing material submittals for steel structure and fabrication projects.

Key Responsibilities:
-Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements for steel structures, platforms, and miscellaneous fabrication works.
-Prepare detailed material take-offs (MTOs) and perform accurate quantity analysis for all fabrication components.
-Develop comprehensive cost estimates covering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracting for steel fabrication and erection projects.
-Prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations in response to client inquiries and tenders.
-Coordinate with procurement to collect and verify material prices and subcontractor quotations.
-Prepare and review material submittals in compliance with project specifications and client standards.
-Evaluate and review shop drawings and fabrication details to ensure all items are captured in the cost estimation.
-Prepare comparison sheets for supplier quotations and recommend the most cost-effective options.
-Participate in tender clarification meetings with clients and consultants to address technical and commercial queries.
-Maintain a cost database for fabrication and erection activities to support future tendering.
-Assist in developing project budgets and forecasts based on approved tenders.
-Work closely with design, planning, and production teams to ensure alignment between estimates and actual project execution.
-Support in value engineering and cost optimization initiatives during estimation and project execution phases.
-Ensure that all quotations and submissions are complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
-Stay updated with market prices, fabrication technologies, and steel industry trends.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 2–8 years of experience in steel fabrication estimation.
Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, materials, and erection methods.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla, and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Must be currently available in the UAE for interview and immediate joining.
