At Qiddiya Investment Company, we are on an exciting journey to transform the entertainment and leisure landscape in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for an inspirational Executive Director - Development to lead our visionary development initiatives. This pivotal role involves strategic oversight and execution of large-scale projects that will define the future of Qiddiya.

As the Executive Director - Development, you will be responsible for guiding a talented team through every phase of development projects, from conception through completion. You will collaborate closely with a diverse array of stakeholders to ensure that our projects not only meet high standards of excellence but also align with Qiddiya’s mission to create a vibrant and engaging destination.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the strategic vision and framework for all development initiatives within Qiddiya.
  • Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with budgetary, timeframe, and quality objectives.
  • Create and foster partnerships with governmental entities, industry stakeholders, and local communities to enhance project support and engagement.
  • Manage comprehensive project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, ensuring prudent resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, promoting a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and adopt best practices in project management to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and sustainability measures throughout the development process.
  • Regularly update senior management and the Board on project progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
  • Encourage a customer-focused approach, ensuring that community needs and feedback are integrated into development plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in real estate development or project management, with demonstrated success in leading large-scale development projects.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, project budgeting, and resource management.
  • Proven track record in strategic planning and execution in the entertainment, leisure, or hospitality sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Solid technical knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Fluent in both Arabic and English is a plus.
