MUST HAVE PLANT MANAGER EXPERIENCE

Job Summary

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Assistant Plant Manager is responsible for all aspects of the company's manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include supervising processes and staff to meet specified production goals on time and at specified quality.

Essential Functions

· Assist the Plant Manager in organizing and managing day-to-day activities for production

· Manage a team of workers in achieving daily production goals

· Responsible for assisting the Plant Manager in leading and directing the development, training, and performance of team members. Leads, manages, and motivates the workforce

· Coordinate with the Plant Manager to resolve production issues in a timely manner

· Ensure compliance with company policies

· Supervise operations to meet production requirements in a timely manner

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 5 years manufacturing leadership experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in construction/manufacturing environment
• Properly trained on the operation and safety aspect of electric drills, power tools, air compressor tools, nail gun etc.
• Ability to read blue prints
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must have basic tools to start work (tape measure, hammer, etc.)

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift, move or handle parts weighing up to 30 pounds on a consistent basis
• Ability to lift, move or handle parts weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
• Ability to stand for up to 4 hours at a time
