- Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repair work on the project: mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Maintain and operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management systems, and building repairs.
- Perform facility inspections and report on conditions affecting operations.
- Respond to emergencies.
- Prepare and submit summary reports of conditions in buildings and recommend actions to be taken.
- Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, BMS system, fire/life safety, and other systems.
- Comply with all safety procedures and requirements.
- § Providing technical input and review of Standard Operating Procedures
- § Work in a cross functional environment and interact with team members from various disciplines.
- § Demonstrated ability to interface with Operations Field staff, Environment Health & Safety, Operations Management, and local regulatory agencies.
- § Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects of varying complexity.
- Provide technical support to the project on all Facilities Systems
- Own the development, implementation and monitoring of policies, procedures and protocols for the Facilities services (inc. Permit to Work System and Emergency Procedures)
- Plan, coordinate and supervise in house staff, consultants and specialist service contractors on the building services.
- Carry out manual planned and reactive maintenance on all MEP assets and systems within the client’s facility.
- Carrying out risk assessments and develop Method Statements to ensure all operatives and tasks are carried out safely.
- Develop and deliver a training matrix of basic maintenance skills to support the development of Technicians.
- Develop and ensure delivery of regular tool box talks to the technical team.
- Perform other works as directed by their line manager from time to time.
