Description:
Facilities Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned equipment. Performs various tasks associated with maintenance and repair of various outlets with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
To perform this role successfully, the individual must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs.

Perform routine testing of wall-mounted medical gas outlets, electrical outlets, and equipment connections throughout the facility.

Verify each outlet is functioning correctly, meets safety standards, and delivers the required pressure, flow, or electrical output.

Document all test results accurately and report any failures, hazards, or deficiencies to the supervisor.

Assist with minor troubleshooting or tagging defective outlets for repair.

Follow infection control, safety procedures, and hospital protocols while working in patient rooms and clinical areas.

Coordinate with clinical staff to access rooms and minimize disruption to patient care.

Maintain testing tools, equipment logs, and daily work records.

Education & Experience
- Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Technical Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing outlets.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with equipment service.

Working Conditions
- Field-based role with regular travel to healthcare facilities.
