Job Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of all building systems, including MEP, civil, and structural components.

  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules, budgets, and technical reports in coordination with management.

  • Ensure reliable operation and upkeep of HVAC systems, electrical panels, plumbing, drainage, firefighting systems, lifts, and generators.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and verify the integrity of all facilities and utilities.

  • Lead maintenance teams and coordinate with contractors and service providers for repair, renovation, and improvement works.

  • Monitor maintenance contracts, assess vendor performance, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs).

  • Provide technical support during emergencies to minimize downtime and operational disruption.

  • Ensure full compliance with Qatar Civil Defense, Kahramaa, and other local authority regulations.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service logs, and asset inventories.

  • Support energy conservation and sustainability initiatives across the facility.

  • Promote and enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies and safe work practices at all times.

  • Uphold quality standards and ensure continuous improvement in maintenance processes and systems.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.


  • Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in facility management or building maintenance, preferably within industrial, port, or large infrastructure environments.

  • Hands-on experience managing outsourced service contracts and liaising with government authorities.

  • Strong technical expertise in MEP systems, building maintenance planning, and facility asset management.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and 24/7 operational environment
